A small tool for teacher-led work.

ClozeMint helps secondary English and EFL teachers turn text they are entitled to use into editable gap-fill exercises.

The current MVP provides one teacher-controlled workflow: manual gaps, acceptable answers, optional hints and wordbank, separate student and teacher exports, and matching revision IDs, plus local drafts and JSON backups.

What remains a teacher decision

The tool does not verify answer uniqueness, lesson suitability, difficulty, curriculum alignment, or rights clearance. It does not score learners or store student records. The project holder approved the original example and guide for free public use, including future ad-supported websites, on 12 October 2026. This is a holder declaration, not independent copyright verification or classroom validation.

Scope and limits

ClozeMint provides a free, browser-local editing workflow. Teachers choose the gaps and decide which answers to accept. The built-in demonstration lists alternatives accepted by the project holder for discussion; it is not a reviewed assessment or evidence of classroom effectiveness.
